Oddball Aeronauts 2 launches on Kickstarter tomorrow!

You remember Oddball Aeronauts don't you? The really cool game from +maverick:muse where you don't need a table top play on.

I wrote up a (p)review of the original game back in January and then hosted a give away during their very successful kickstarter in February.

The kickstarter was a great success and +Nigel Pyne and his team even delivered the game on time!

Remember now? Good!

A follow up to the original game is about to launch on Kickstarter tomorrow.

Edit: The kickstarter is live now!

Here's the official press release:

Immediate Release

oddball Aeronauts 2 - Doubling your Trouble!!

Maverick Muse Ltd are pleased to announce that 'oddball Aeronauts 2 : Double the Trouble’, the first expansion to oddball Aeronauts - the play-in-the-hand, no surface required, light strategy card game - will be coming to Kickstarter on 5th November 2014.

In oddball Aeronauts, 2 players go head to head in a dirigible duel in the skies of an oddball, steampunk-esque world and was very successfully funded in March 2014 via Kickstarter. Now 'oddball Aeronauts 2 : Double the Trouble' will add 2 new factions - the Mechinauts and Free Kingdoms - and rules for 3 or 4 player games. So with double the number of factions and double the number of players, gamers can easily double their trouble . . . almost anywhere!

In the first Kickstarter, backers had the opportunity to get custom named Captains and ships. This time, we’ve expanded that so backers can customise Captains, Figurehead, crew and even change the art itself.

Here's some kick ass art from the new project:

I had a great time working with the Maverick Muse team earlier this year and I fully endorse this new kickstarter.

Note: I received nothing for this post. Not even a review copy of the new set. I just wanted to share something I thought was cool and support some people I've enjoyed working with in the past.
